The Fantasticon convention itself was a bust as Bruce Boxleitner didn't show up. However, we rented a VCR at the hotel and watched a few SMK episodes (as well as various interviews with Bruce and Kate) until midnight for both days. Freer13@yahoo.com was kind enough to bring some of her scripts for us to read. We also had some original fan fiction stories, new trivia questions and answers, word search puzzles, and a cassette of SMK-related songs. We also did a few rounds of favorite lines/scenes from various episodes.

Some of us had our SMK t-shirts on the first day and quite a few of the hotel guests recognized our show right away. Two people even asked if we had a dealer's table at the con (which I personally thought was pretty cool).

A great time was had by all. Next year: Arlington, VA! The date and location are yet to be determined.
