Hilarious moments: There are so many, but the one that sticks out in my mind was when Lee was trying to convince Amanda to go away with him he said that what she needed was a man with a healthy sex drive. The look on her face was priceless. I just wonder how many times Kate and Bruce had to do this scene to get it right. They both looked like they were ready to explode with laughter.
Memorable moments: When they FINALLY got married.
I like to meet: Kate Jackson, she seems to be a great lady. She knows what she wants and isn't affraid to do what she must to get it. She has faced many obstacles in her life and overcome them all.
Favorite characters: Lee and Amanda of course!
What I loved about S&MK: Scarecrow and Mrs. King has something for everyone. If you love adventure it has plenty of that, Romance got it too. Comedy it's in there. People of all ages love it. I started watching when I was 14, today I am 24 I love it as much now as I did then. So do my parents who are 55 years old. My nephew who is 10 also loves it.
Comments: Scarecrow and Mrs. King is a great show. I would love to see a reunion movie made. My only regret is that Mel Stewart passed away and wont be able to play Billy. I would'nt want to see anyone other than the original actors playing their parts it just wouldnt be the same. I have never seen chemistry like Kates and Bruce's between other actors.

Hilarious moments: In the episode DOA, the dream she has after she eats the sandwhich and is at Lee's apartment. Also in the same episode, where she is talking like John Wayne telling "Bill" what needs to be done.
Memorable moments: The famous scene from Nightcrawler, where Lee proposes and then at the end of Mission of Gold where he says, "I love you Mrs. Stetson."

Hilarious moments: The scene from "Vigilante Mothers" when A sneaks up on L as he tries to find the spicket to turn off the sprinkler.
Memorable moments: Anytime Kate and Bruce are onscreen together. They had the best chemistry!

What I loved about S&MK: I loved the fact that it was purely entertainment. That's it.
Also, loved the chemistry bewteen all the actors - they say they got along real well, and that shows on screen.

Comments: Debbie (and everyone), glad you like the bloopers and
obscure facts as much as I do. When I first started the
page about 5 years ago, I didn't think I had enough content
to be any good, but I knew that the facts and bloopers were
going to be enjoyable. Little did I know how popular they
would be. Bloopers being the most popular. As for the
hurricane blooper (everytime I watch that ep., thought it
was an odd blooper...guess from living in hurricane city),
I'm very sure it was in "Saved by the Bells." I always
check the bloopers and info (though some of it I can't) for
accuracy and also to explain the scene in detail. Thanks
though. Plan on having an update this week. Also, more info
and bloopers coming!!!

Memorable moments: I thik it is the second episode at that end when Amanda asks Lee if he has anything nice to say about her work and he says that "if my leggs are ... then I think your work is just ok." something like that. Any way I really like the 3 and 4th season epds especially when Lee and Amanda start getting closer.
I like to meet: I would love to meet them all. But to start Kate Jackson and Bruce Boxleitner.

What I loved about S&MK: I like how Lee and Amanda always agrue and that some how Amanda usually wins. I also like the fact that she is always their for Lee even if he keeps pushing her away.

What I loved about S&MK: The humor. It was an awesome show.

Hilarious moments: One was when Amanda and Francine were filling out applications to become maids for the evil Burling Brothers and Mrs. Flanagan asked her to tell her age and Francine said "What's the difference, I'm over 21." and the reply was "I'm sure of that" and Amanda's behind her snickering.
Memorable moments: When Amanda is kidnapped by Addi Birol and Lee finally gets to her and proposes.

I think my favorite quote is from charity begins at home when Amanda is explaining something to Billy and she asks him if he understands her and he says Billy: "I almost always understand you amanda, it scares me a little..." My favorite blooper is in Gift horse when Lee is driving the jeep to go save Amanda and Penny the steering wheel starts out on the left, switches to the right in a wide shot and then is back where it started some time later.

Hilarious moments: My favorite moment is not exactly hilarious but it is funny in its own way. It is when Amanda is taken by surprise when Lee tells her that he loves her on the phone in the episodes called Stemwinder. I think it was funny the way she reacted.
Memorable moments: The moment that I think is most unforgettable is also in the episodes called Stemwinder. Amanda and Lee are in Amanda's bedroom and Lee came to say goodbye and Amanda admits that she loves him. They decided to go into hiding together.
I like to meet: Bruce Boxleitner--because he is an amazing actor and is my all time favorite actor. As Scarecrow he was able to mix tough guy image with a sensitive side. That is a tough act to pull off.
Favorite characters: Lee and Amanda--They had a chemistry right from the beginning that undeniably charged with electricity.
What I loved about S&MK: The way Lee and Amanda seemed to grow not only job wise but in mind and emotions.
Comments: I love Scarecrow and Mrs. King. It is a contineous story line one after the other. I wish that the show was on video so that I could watch them anytime I wanted.

Hilarious moments: When Lee told Amanda how he knew it was her during the evil twin episode.
Memorable moments: I called it the seventy-two hours show though I don't think that was the title. Lee was poisoned and given seventy-two hours to find the cure. My favorite moment was at the end when Amanda was with him and finally realized he was going to be all right.

What I loved about S&MK: Waiting for that day when Lee and Amanda would finally be together as they were meant to be. My friends and I at school lived for the day that episode would air. We were hopeless devotees!
Comments: The page is great and really brought back some memories for me. I had once upon a time taped many of the episodes, bu unfortunately, my tapes were stole while away at school. I desperately want to see the episodes again, and appeciate the addresses, and information on perhaps being able to find them on tape.

What I loved about S&MK: The mixture of comedy, romance and detective work was what really made this show stand apart from others like it. The chemistry between all of the actors helped to create a world where anything could happen, and usually did. The idea that a common housewife could lead a double life was also hilarious, it was just one of the best written and produced ahows on TV.
Comments: This page is GREAT! I've been looking for something like it foe a while. Scarecrow and Mrs. King was really one of the best mystery/romantic/comedy/adventure shows on in the 80's and 90's for that matter. It deserves a place like this!

What I loved about S&MK: The chemistry between kate and bruce was unbelievable it was so great. every time she went to touch him but stopped herself, you knew just how much she felt but didn't want to show.they developed flirtation to an artform. getting close enough to feel the heat and trying not to get burned. some of the supporting characters were hysterical. who can ever forget augie's hoss cartwright original. Or the time that amanda told dotty that the wind blew in one door then blew out the other and kind of blew the room away with it. It had some great oneliners. And who wouldn't want to work for billy.
Comments: This is a great page. I lived for Scarecrow and mrs. king every week. Keep us updated on how it's going with columbia house. My tapes are getting worn and i don't have cable. I have an idea of my own I'd like to pitch to Ms. jackson. If she owns the rights to the characters.

Hilarious moments: In 'A Class Act' when Amanda tells Lee that Lila is the undercover trainee they are looking for because she has a Russian dictionary big as life, and Lee says, "Well, Amanda, maybe that's because she's Russian."
Memorable moments: In 'Nightcrawler' when amanda was kidnapped and Lee tried to rescue her, but they were both caught and they thought they were going to die, and Lee proposed to her, and he held her in his arms until Billy and the other agents had bust through the door.

What I loved about S&MK: I loved the chemistry between Kate and Bruce- the way they loked at each other, and those secret meeetings at her house when no one was supposed to know, and how Kate portrayed the goofy housewife who turned out to be a lot smarter than everyone (including Francine) thought. She also turned out to be one of the agency's best agents and weapons. I loved every minute of the show, it was totatlly unpredictable, but that's what made you tune in. I never missed an episode (thanks VCR plus!!!!)
Comments: I love your page, it's great!!!!I'd really love to see Kate and Bruce together in a reunion, I hope something comes up soon!! I absolutely can't get enough of the show, and I hope Lifetime brings it back, or we fans can buy episodes. How about the family channel bringing it back to life? It used to come on late at night, but I still would stay up all night to watch it if I had to , and I'm 15 years old!!Let Scarecrow and Mrs. King live on. Hilarious moments: When Mrs. King lost her memory and Scarecrow shows up and she forces him to back up with her pointing fingers.
Memorable moments: When there in England and she talks about how the wife does not touch her husband and she touches Scarecrow and immediately removes her hand once she realizes what she has done and they both look uncomfortable. Also, when she thinks Scarecrow is dead and he shows up. She runs over to him and hugs him and he seems to enjoy it.

Favorite characters: The elderly man on the golf cart who interrupts the exchange of spy for Mrs. King.
What I loved about S&MK: The interactions between Scarecrow and Mrs. King were enjoyable, funny, touching and sometimes incredibly frustrating. The looks they gave to one another made me laugh.

What I loved about S&MK: The adventure. The character chemistry. The evolution of the
relationship between two of the most lovable, good-looking
characters I've ever seen. They were exciting, dangerous,
and I fell hopelessly in love from Episode #1. To be honest with
my fellow fans--this precious show got me through what I call
the hell-period of my young life (I was 11 when the show first
aired), and I'll always be grateful to it for that. I am
very attached to this program in a very real way.

What I loved about S&MK: I loved the relationship between Lee and Amanda before
they got married. (I personally hate it when two perfectly
compatable characters are brought together just because they
are of the opposite gender) Lee was just so..mysterious and
'worldly' and Amanda was as down to earth as they came. It
was great.

Hilarious moments: There are a bunch of them, one is from the first episode when snotty old Francine is the one giving out classified information and the looser -Amanda - is the one who saves the day. Also anytime Amanda is right and Lee or Francine is wrong (Especially Francine) and all the times that Dotty has no idea what Amanda is up to.
Memorable moments: Well.... theres the time that Lee is almost killed by the watch with the cyniad so that he won't spread that virus in bad timming, theres the time that they think Amanda is Lee and Kidnapp her to sell to the russians. Theres that time when everyone thinks Lee is dead, Of course theres the Proposal, when Lee tells Amanda he loves her and so on and so on , (if i named them all i'd take up all the space.

Hilarious moments: I love so many of the moments, but I think my favorite was when Amanda was drugged from eating the sandwich, and what she said to billy on the phone, that was great!
Memorable moments: Any time that there was hint of romance, a gesture of caring, even just a touch on the shoulder, and those looks they gave each other. I think my very favorite though was after he had proposed, and she saw the box on her desk, and she just kept looking at it the ring, like it's really real. He really did ask me to marry him and he really does love me. It was the best!

What I loved about S&MK: I love the story, the idea, the fun of a normal person, suddenly becoming invovled in something so exciting and so different. I love Washington D.C. and the whole ideas of spies and such. Mostlly I love Lee and Amanda and how they relate and the chemistry between them. Even when he could not stand her, they still just flowed so well together. It was fun to see him go from hating her practically, to not wanting anyone else to have her but her didn't want her either, to her being the most precious thing in his life.

Hilarious moments: Lee has to choose which is the real Amanda when they are hanging from a ledge and he can only save one. He knows it's her when one of them says (in a desperate moment) "Oh gosh!" I also loved when Francine got jealous every time she saw Lee & Amanda together! I would just laugh in her jealous little face!!
Memorable moments: I loved the one where Lee has taken truth syrum and Amanda is questioning him. For a moment, she considers asking him about his true feelings for her.

What I loved about S&MK: It was funny and romantic. You always waited for them to get together, or at least hoped for a cute romantic scene once in awhile. I loved the chemistry and respect between the actors. Oh, and I had this awful habit of narrating the scenes during the opening theme song! I still do it when I see the reruns, it's automatic...I can't help it!
Comments: Wow! someone actually watched this show other than me!! I loved it and was sorry when it was cancelled. It's one of those shows that you can watch over and over again, even when you know the stories already. I hope Lifetime renews for another season. Wouldn't a "Scarecrow & Mrs. King" movie be great??? We could see what they were doing now!

What I loved about S&MK: This show was fantastic. The story lines were exciting,
the flirting held off until a real friendship was formed,
and true love stuck for a divorced mom of 2 boys. I
watched this show from the beginning and continue to watch
it in syndication. I wanted to become a "spy" and meet someone
exactly like Lee Stetson. I have an autographed picture of the
two of them that I sent away for when I was only 12. I
treasure it!!

Comments: I was just kidding around in yahoo when I typed in"Scarecrow and Mrs King" - didn't even consisder that others liked the show as well as I do. I used to tape it so that I could watch it with my daughters - they love detective stories and NYPD Blue just doesn't cut it at ages 8 and 4!

Memorable moments: Well, I never got to see when Lee said he loved Amanda. So the most memorable moment for me was when Lee asked Amanda to go out with him. He said they didn't do it enough.

Hilarious moments: In "Saved By the Bells" -- Lee and Amanada are locked in a room together after she is mistaken for The Scarecrow. Villain enter. "Scarecrow?" Both Lee and Amanda look up and say "Yes?"
Memorable moments: "Service Above and Beyond." Scarecrow carrying the drugged, unconcious Amanda down the stairs at a posh party, cutting off the opera singer. Scarecrow demands of villain: "What did he give her? Tell me, or you will spend your time in a wheelchair, I can promise you that!"
I like to meet: Beverly Garland. She's incredibly funny, graceful, and tends to steal any scene she's in.
Favorite characters: Scarecrow, Amanda, Billy
What I loved about S&MK: Witty show, good escapism, with serious or humorous moments,
and a male/female detective relationship with both characters
on equal footing. Loved the play on their differing levels
of experience. He's an expert spy, but there are just some
things he doesn't know, and Amand would often jump in and solve
a situation based on her knowledge of Life.
Comments: Great page! It's nice to see this show represented on the

What I loved about S&MK: many of the episodes were dramatizations of incidents that actually happened.
Comments: The series was patterned after Elsie Diane English Whitney
who was a housewife who actually helped the government sometimes.
She took part in the investigation that became known as the
Rosenberg Case. Elsie Diane English was given credit in an least three of the original episodes.
Note: The series was shown in the D.C. area prior to Fall of 1983. At that time
Scarecrow had a blue porsche for many of the episodes and
Billy Melrose was not yet part of the series.

Comments: I really miss this show. I have most of them on old fuzzy
video tapes. I just wish they'd found a better way to put
some closure to the whole thing. Maybe a TV movie or
something like that. It would be fun to see where they'd
